COME SING WITH US!

The Catskill Choral Society always welcomes new voices, especially tenors typically in short supply. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings (7 to 9:30 p.m.) from September through early December for its winter concert, and begin again in January for the spring concert, usually held in late April or early May. Rehearsals take place at the First Presbyterian Church in Oneonta.

Auditions are scheduled at the start of each concert cycle. Singers should be prepared to sight-read music before the Director and the audition committee. For more information and/or to schedule an audition, please contact Kerstin Green at (607) 286-9106.

THE CATSKILL CHAMBER SINGERS

This small, self-directed a capella ensemble is open to Choral Society members and other community singers by audition when vacancies exist. The group presents a varied repertoire, for example sacred and secular music, madrigals, spirituals, folk and popular music. The Catskill Chamber Singers perform full concerts three times a year, and the group is in great demand for performances at a wide variety of area fundraising and community events, area nursing homes and hospitals.
